This is going to be long...
- Changed some of my lines before the race and my vang primary came undone in the first race. Review knots 101.
- New sail needs less cunningham. Couldn't point at all at first.
- Did not tape the bailer open and almost capsized twice (once downwind, once upwind) trying to open it.
- I suck downwind; I need to learn.
- I overstood at least twice.
- Jibed too early in ebb tide and almost did not make the mark.
- One run I thought I was on starboard and messed up Kurt
- Stuck nose in waves downwind and filled up the boat at least three times.
- Capsized in a tack
- Since I suck at tacking, I tend to sail in bad air too long
- Dead by the end of the day
I need to figure out better what is going on with the current. Sunday
I was doing better just because I tried to go where Peter was going.
Sunday I was happy with my upwind speed; I played cunningham and vang
quite a bit when conditions were changing.
I'm sure I'm forgetting tons of other mistakes.
