There were 3 races on Saturday and 2 on Sunday, with a 3rd started and abandoned due to a roughly 180 degree windshift and then wind fade to nothing. All 6 starts showed the "C" course which was twice around marks to port, windward offset and leeward gate.

Saturday was windy. By the end of racing the Bay was covered in whitecaps. Going right on the beats for ebb, and going straight to the gate or downwind finish on runs seemed the thing to do. The last race many people were commenting on how to stop their boats submerging on runs. There were a number of spinouts as opposed to capsizes, although there plenty of those too.

Sunday the first start was delayed for quite a while due to very light air, then the course was reset a few times as the wind clocked. The courses were reset between each race. The water was flat relative to Saturday. The breeze was much lighter with a lot of shifts. Current alone was not determining strategy on beats. A number of times people in the middle of the course did better than people on the right in the stronger ebb. Downwind, sometimes staying right for current relief worked, but other times people in the middle of the course got good puffs and caught boats.
