Roger passed this along:

Julian ran away with it, for sure. I was in a 3 way tie for second after two races, but self destructed in the third.

The results were really scattered ....Many sailors had both really good and really bad races. The lake really punished bad choices. The two most impressive performances were Julian in the full rig, and Simone in the radial, who started with the full rigs and often led the entire fleet. Overall, the traditional wisdom held....up the upwind left side, down the downwind left side, and hope for luck in the top middle !

Notably absent were Bay Area Laser sailors. It's a great weekend in a beautiful setting. Happily, the Byte ladies from RYC were there, and we joined up for a Sat eve get together with a big pot of Jambalaya, steak, and lots of goodies. We should get a better group up there next year.
